FAQ - Customs Department
Question :
What is the Situation with the Customs Department in my Country?
Answer :
All goods sent by AsiaFactory are subject to Customs clearance in all countries. When you order from AsiaFactory, you are importing goods from China, thus you are the importer and you are responsible for the goods when they pass through Customs in your destination country.
As the importer, it is your responsibility to know in advance if the goods you have bought from us are permitted to be imported, and if so, what clearance requirements, taxes, policies, etc., apply in your country.
AsiaFactory cannot give pre-shipment information on Customs issues whatsoever, as all countries have different rules and regulations.
However, we can confirm that over 99.9% of shipments from us result in no issues whatsoever with Customs clearance.
As the importer, you bear sole responsibility for the clearance of the goods any issues that may arise from an inspection or hold.
You will typically be required to communicate directly with your country's Customs, or contact them via your courier company.
If additional documents are required well do our best to provide the documents to you.
Under these terms and conditions, which you agree to at the time you place your order, you are acknowledging that you understand your responsibilities as an importer and that any resultant liabilities should any import issue occur, are your responsibility.
If the goods are impounded, held indefinitely, destroyed, or confiscated by Customs, AsiaFactory is unable to provide compensation of any kind.
